SHOP KEY INGREDIENTS

  • Food Processor: A good quality food processor is essential for achieving that silky smooth whipped feta.
  • Small Saucepan: Perfect for gently warming the honey for the hot honey drizzle.
  • Serving Bowl: Choose a rustic, ceramic bowl to enhance the "Modern-Homey Fusion" aesthetic.

FULL RECIPE INGREDIENTS

Image
  • 8 oz block feta cheese, crumbled
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, plus more for drizzling
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2-3 tbsp milk or water (as needed for consistency)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (or more, to taste)
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish
  • Pita bread or crackers, for serving

Step 1: Whip the Feta

Combine the crumbled feta, softened cream cheese, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and lemon juice in a food processor. Process until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.

Step 2: Adjust Consistency

If the mixture is too thick, add milk or water one tablespoon at a time until you reach a light, airy, and spreadable consistency. Continue processing until fully incorporated.

Step 3: Prepare the Hot Honey

In a small saucepan over low heat, gently warm the honey and red pepper flakes. Stir occasionally until the honey is slightly thinned and infused with the chili flavor, about 2-3 minutes. Do not boil.

Step 4: Assemble the Dip

Transfer the whipped feta to your chosen serving bowl. Create a slight well in the center for the honey drizzle.

Step 5: Garnish and Serve

Drizzle the warm hot honey generously over the whipped feta. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and an extra sprinkle of red pepper flakes, if desired. Serve immediately with warm pita bread or an assortment of crackers.
